Former Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy
Massachusetts Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy passed away today after battling brain cancer for a little over a year now when he was diagnosed with the condition last May, 2008. He has served as a Senator for 47 long years.
The blogosphere has been very busy since word came out hours ago that he has passed away at his home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Some blog entries were closed or locked up for comments when not so good comments kept pouring in. Even the wikipedia page dedicated to him was not spared from "vandalism" per what wikipedia posted and was subsequently closed for new and unregistered users wanting to edit the page
One of the more prominent word in blogosphere right now is that the Democrats will use his passing away as a rallying cry to finally pass Health Care Reform and hopefully also Immigration Reform as the late Senator Ted Kennedy championed both reforms.
Rest in peace.
