Create a personalized badge
Get
a personalized Badge that you can embed on other websites and forums
that will dynamically update to show your stats within the forum
In addition to rankings we have introduced a couple of weeks ago, membership badges are also now available.
You can choose between 3 types of badges which you can embed or put on display on majority of websites such as myspace, facebook, blogger, etc...
Instructions:
First of, make sure that you are logged-in as the embed code for your personalized badge will only appear when logged-in as a member. Otherwise, what you may see is my (founder) sample badges plus no corresponding embed code beside the chosen badge.
Click the 'Stats' tab located on the top middle portion of the webpage, then click 'Badges' or 'Create my Badge' to start the process.
Choose from 3 available versions of the badge which you like most and then just copy the corresponding embed code and then paste the code on other websites. The embed code will work in all major websites such as facebook, myspace, online journals and most blogs if you have personal blogs.
The badges will automatically update every few hours to show your latest stats.
These badges are personalized to each member on a forum. They'll show the member's picture/avatar, name, number of posts, and a few other stats.
For a more detailed instruction, click 'Badges' or 'Create my Badge' from the 'Stats' tab and then click Read a tutorial on how to embed this code into other website. That will bring you to a more detailed instruction on how to embed the code to myspace or facebook but in most cases, it would just be as simple as just copying the corresponding embed code and pasting it on other websites.
The badges also doubles as linkbacks to the forum.
The badges and the rankings introduced a few weeks ago are just one of the small ways for us to say thank you for registering to our FREE membership and for contributing to our online community.

Just reminding all members to not forget to get their badges and embed it on their own blogs, social networking sites and other websites. The badge works (can be embedded) in almost all websites.
The badges can also be embedded in your e-mail signature in sites like yahoo and hotmail.
Embed a badge in your Email
Sites like hotmail, yahoo, and programs like Outlook allow you to embed images into your Email signature. However, if you use Gmail.com, you cannot embed images into your signature, so we recommend you add a text badge like: "Check out my forum -> http://YOUR-FORUM.lefora.com/ where you replace YOUR-FORUM with your forum's address. Gmail will automatically turn anything with http:// into a link.
