President Obama has just announced that the CIR bill, which is long-desired by immigration reformists, will be pushed off until 2010. The President remains committed to the cause but he is concerned that his efforts on health care, global warming, and the financial crisis will be hampered by another major issue such as immigration. This strikes a blow against the healthcare immigration community, who was hoping that a CIR bill could be the force behind liberalized healthcare visa reform.

another big yet expected blow,just one of the many that we seem to have been numb about for so long but then only God really knows,rejoice!
Ever heard of patience is a virtue? It's really a matter of wait and see. Meanwhile, I suppose I am capable enough to squeeze the lemon and make lemonade because until now, an apple is elusive. I further suppose I could yet use the lemon for my gin and tonic, enjoying what is there. Meaning? Live and let live. American dream is far but is somewhere out there. :)
