Foreign Nurses: Losing Interest in the United States?

The U.S. recession - and perhaps the visa backlog - is making the U.S. less attractive to nurses in the Philippines. The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) issued a statement that more than 600,000 Filipino nurses are actively seeking jobs but are now prefering the Mideast more than the U.S.
