UPDATE

I am posting just to update you on my progress. I have Today booked my flights and will fly to Australia in October to start my new life. The visa process has been very quick and painless unlike USA. I am very excited and hope to now put my green card nightmare behond me. I would like to thank everyone on here for all the positive posts and wish evrybody a speedy and great life where ever you land up

Just out of curiosity, will you be canceling your petition to the US altogether or will still keep it alive?

From what I hear, a lot of our nurses are in Australia and New Zealand.
I hope you find new friends there.

Hi all

I have'nt posted for a while busy getting packed for Australia. After all these years of waiting we finally fly to Australia next week. I start work 12/10/09 so evreything is hectic just now. I would like to thank you all for the support and encouragement and good luck for the future
