This is from Advance for Nurses, pages 5 to 7.
For the first time in 5 years, the numbers show lack of jobs, not an immediate shortage of nurses, as California improved from 50th to 45th in the number of nurses per capita.
...the shortage will return on the heels of economic recovery, as nurses who continued to work or returned to work during the recession decide to retire.
...nursing jobs are available in California, they are few and far between, especially for new grads.
Let's all pray for economic recovery so we can all get together in the good ole US of A.
