Today, June 29, 2009, Bernard "Bernie" Madoff said to be the world's biggest swindler in history has been sentenced for the maximum allowable 150 years. It is safe to say that he will die in prison since his parole would be 80% service of his sentence, which is 120 years.
Total money swindled is said to be $65 billion dollars in a span of 20 years or so. However, the $65B is just an estimate and it could be bigger.
