Hello Nursing. Welcome to www.foreign-nurse.lefora.com
Lots of nurses are opening their chances for Canadian nursing moreso that US isn't welcoming foreign nurses yet.
There are some agencies in the Philippines that recruits nurses to get deployed in Canada. You can consider this option. Another option is for you to apply on your own. If you've chosen to process the application on your own, the ideal steps to follow are: 1.) Decide which place in Canada you wish to work 2.) Seek for nursing registration/eligibility with the responsible nursing regulatory body in the area you wish to work. At this stage, you have to sit for IELTS since in all Canadian Colleges of Nurses does they require a proof of english language proficiency. 3.) Once made eligible, you are ready to apply direct with various health facilities. The jobbank is the most helpful site for nurses seeking jobs in Canada, the web address is www.jobbank.gc.ca
Once you'll find an employer/health facility willing to hire you, the process in bringing you over to Canada starts. It's a simple process.
I suggest tha you seek for eligibility in Saskatachewan or Nova Scotia because they seem to be more liberal when it comes to foreign nurses seeking for registration.
Good Luck to you, God Bless
MODERATOR'S NOTE:
I suggest that you post follow up concerns with how to apply in Canada on the thread entitled "Going to Canada". Hoping for good compliance.
