As loyal Sun readers know, the province will cut its health care coverage, paving the way for Albertans to have to pay private companies to cover services no longer on the taxpayer tab.
Only an assortment of the out-of-touch, including opposition Liberals and some members of the chattering class, remain convinced the province not footing the bill for all future sex change operations will be a day of reckoning for the Tories.
In what passes for the real world to the vast majority of Albertans, we deal with the reality of the province reducing the number of health care services funded by the public purse, a move with the potential to affect every single Albertan.
No free eye exams for little Tammy or no operation to turn Timmy into Tammy. You pick.
