NHS trust imposes freeze on jobs

Health chiefs in north Wales have put a freeze on recruitment in an effort to direct money to front line services.
North Wales NHS Trust, which includes Glan Clwyd and Wrexham Maelor hospitals, said it was under severe financial pressure.
The trust said it would still appoint so-called key staff to help maintain patient safety.
The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has criticised the move, saying recruitment freezes should be avoided at all cost.
