There are two ways to do this.

1) Go to "Edit Your Profile" and then go to "Manage Notifications" and make sure you check both boxes for e-mail notifications.  You will get e-mail notifications, complete w/ the link of the thread you are trying to track.

2) Click your own username or avatar.  This will bring you to a list of ALL posts you ever posted in the forum and just simply click the topics you previously posted where you are expecting replies.  You can also track someone's posting history by clicking their username or avatar and a list of ALL his post will be displayed as well.

**This is also why we discourage going off-topic or to always stay on topic and to just simply start a new topic or thread instead if there are no appropriate threads that your post may belong to.  Tracking or searching past posts will be difficult if topics or threads contains so many off-topic posts.  Better start a brand new thread or topic instead.

Starting a new thread or topic is very easy.  Just click "Start a topic" found on the upper right hand of the webpage and then choose what forum category to place it (in most cases it will be under the General forum category) and then click create/submit new topic.
