There are two post editors available:
The default is the media editor where you can upload videos and imagesLogged-in members can switch between the default media editor and the standard editor where most members may be more acquainted with.- When one want to post an image with your text post, some may prefer to use the standard editor. Just click the 'insert image' icon in the standard editor (near the insert emoticons icon) and you can paste in the url of the location of the image file. All major image/photo files such as .jpg, .png, and .bmp are supported. The size will automatically be figured out but can be manually re-sized as well in the image editor. However, making a size larger from it's original size may decrease it's sharpness. For optimal image sharpness, I recommend using the original size (no matter how big it is) and just re-sizing it to a smaller size. This way, image sharpness is not compromised. The maximum width that we can support to make sure noting is cut is around more or less 750.
Inserting/editing "camouflage" links
- This is done using the standard editor as well. To do this just highlight a word or phrase within your post and click the insert/edit link icon (the one that looks like a chain) and insert the actual url or weblink. A "camouflaged" link will appear light blue and underlined to signify that it goes to another site. You can choose to bold it as well to let it stand out more.
**The post editor will be improved soon. So, there's something to look into. Stay tuned for the improvements
