PEALONY..I just want to know when is the delegation coming to hire nurses to KSA even without experienced.I've already passed my credentials last april 2009 to POEA and havn't received any messages from SRO.please help me. Is it really on october or August? thank you

-honey23

Hello Honey23.

Welcome to www.foreign-nurse.lefora.com.

I am sorry for I couldn't provide you with the info that you are seeking.  But I suggest that you communicate with POEA for the MOH-HOP recruitment schedule. The SRO will definitely advise our POEA as to when will the forthcoming delegation be. It is usually being posted in the POEA website a month before the actual date of  hiring.

Check the POEA website once in awhile.

You wont be receiving any text messaes from SRO till delegation is nearing.

For now, please review and do well on your NLE, then try to get experience even for months only. Remember, MOH does hire nurses with no experience, they even hire Muslim underboard nurses, HOWEVER, our profession is very competitive, with thousands of experienced nurses seeking to be employed under MOH, chances for the delegates to hire new graduates, zero experience nurses is becoming slimmer and slimmer. The delegates will ofcourse prefer nurses with license and with more years of experience. This is not to dishearten new graduates, it is just my simple way of saying, please continue to build your profesional strenghts in any ways you could...then dare to outstand.  In a globally competitive profession, one must not get contented with what he/she has, go on, fly and soar high like an eagle.

God Bless you. Hugs and Kisses to our Hometown, the Asia's Latin city, Zamboanga City!!!wink

thank you for answering my question nurseidol..well, to be honest, unfortunately i will not take the NLE due to financial reason. I have 2 kids already and I want to earn as early as I can to help my husband who is also a nurse, to provide a better future for us..I was so sad when I received the text message of my friend who applied for last april delegation.their batch will be hired under HOP because MOH wants to hire nurses with experienced only. I think its their new requirement.I guess if there will be a delegation in the upcoming months, its understood that they will nt count me in..Im so sad..

Hello Coryn. Welcome to our forum.

Your friends are most probably assigned in hospitals/regions with urgent need for nurses that is why they are called first.  Don't worry you will be next in line. Just keep your fingers crossed.

The delegates who attended the delegation last month or two came from different regions of KSA, those nurses hired and posted under the areas with obvious shortage of nurses will of course be the first batch to be deployed.

In normal cases, it is safe to say that you have to wait for one to three months, counting from the day that your documents got evaluated by Mr. Suave (SRO evaluation officer).

Best of luck.

Hello everyone! I'm done with my final evaluation last july 10,2009. I hope SRO will text me as soon as posible for our departure schedule. The evaluator said that they are in urgent need of nurses. Just by reading post messages here helps me a lot. Thank you so much.

To Coryn:

You are most welcome.

I would like to let you know that you have to prepare at least 600 Saudi Riyals for your Ikama (Working-Residence Permit).  I am not so sure about it since I've been out of MOH for more than a year now. I will try to get the exact amount from MOH friends and I'll get back to you shortly.

I suggest that you bring a pocket money enough to fund your Ikama and basic needs. In some facilities however, they are giving money in advance (1000 SR) , then to be deducted from your first month salary.

It is not the SRO who determines where you are going to be deployed, it is the MOH. After getting selected, the MOH delegate/s who interviewed you will already determine in which part of KSA you will be assigned. But of course they wont tell you immedietly, not until the time you will already have your ticket and departing schedule.

Usually, if the interviewer who interviewed and hired you belongs to a certain region, expect that you will work under his/her jurisdiction.  Like in my case, the one who interviewed me came from Gizan region, so I was also assigned in Gizan. When I became a part of the delegation/recruitment team last 2007, all of the applicants that I/we interviewed were also assigned in Gizan region, only a few we handed over to another jurisdiction. This is not supposed to be the case but is often being practice by the delegates.

I think for every delegation, there are at least 3-4  delegates, each of them represents certain regions of KSA.  Most of the delegates are Arab Directors of nursing, they are usually being accompanied by a filipino nurse supervisor/coordinator who is working under them to help them do the clinical
interviews.

I didn't able to get what you are trying to ask on your last post. But I would say, deployment schedule varies, and nurses are deployed by batches. It can be once a week, twice a week, thrice a month...I cannot really be certain on that matter.

Good luck and God Bless you more.  Let us know once you're leaving.

Hi Coryn.

My apology, I do not have any idea on what region Dr. Ghazi is assigned. Was he the one who interviewed you? Great probability that you will be working in a hospital under his region.

God Bless you.

The Ramadan Season is coming. Expect that there will be no delegation during Ramadan. Delegation will usually be scheduled after Ramadan, that would be by October. Better yet ask the SRO to make things sure.

If you are done with the written exam and interview, SRO may consider that. But in most cases, you will be asked to take the exam again, and go for another interview. New set of delegation means you have to meet the criterias and standards of the new delegates, that is why you'll be required to undergo the same process again.

The Medical exam is another issue. What I know is that it is only good for three months. Once your medical is expired and you are still in the Philippines, you will be required to undergo medical exam again as per requirement for every departing OFW.  This though seldom happens since SRO will give you the go signal for medical exam only once you already won the job offer.

Good Luck and God Bless you always.
