You are welcome lem04. I told you e-mailing them is easy and they usually respond within 5-10 working days depending on their workload.  Congrats!!  Let's just keep waiting.  Happy holidays.

Hi Shexy. You must be too sexy for your name. Applause to that, and welcome to the forum.

Congratulations for having a PD of May 12, 2006. Isn't bad at all since the ones NVC is processing now are applicants with PDs earlier than May 1, 2005. Not so far away from yours.

You must have gotten some info from your lawyer regarding your case. But in most cases as observed, Lawyers tend not to disclose infos about a case when they are not being ask to by the applicants. So try to coordinate closely with your immigration lawyer first. Aside from your lawyer, NVC as well is the best body to directly address your concerns.

Did you already settled the Visa Fee? When was the last time you submitted a DS230 along with other docs to the NVC? A rough idea on this can give you an idea if you are already documentarily qualified by this time.

Our founder had provided you with a link on how to contact the NVC through email. I/we will be eager to know any updates regarding your case. Keep us posted.

Godbless and keep on believing.

Hi, yatra. Your question is a bit confusing.

I hope I can answer it correctly.

Majority of those with 2005 and 2006 PDs were asked to re-submit their updated DS-230 forms and other supporting documents such as new police clearances if it were already expired by then in the months from June-July 2008 and a few in Aug. as well since some request letters that were supposed to be mailed in June or July from NVC arrived late.  This was because at those months the cut-off dates for EB3 ROW and PH was March, 2006.   The NVC proceeds in processing Ds-230 forms if the case is within a few months from the cut-off date.  I believe they were able to ask up to those with a Dec. 2006 PD.  This also backs up the observations of applicants such as us that NVC usually process cases that are only more or less within 9 months from the published cut-off dates.

Your question is confusing because I do not know if you are asking for somebody else rather than being related to your own case since your case is obviously 'documentarily qualified' already.

Would be better to just say so if you are asking for someone else and asking why your friend's case is not yet 'documentarily qualifed' while some of his or her friends are documentarily complete already eventhough their PDs may be very near each other.

There is always an explanation some where but to get a more accurate answer and a more complete answer, the question must be accurate and complete as well.

Hi!I just joined here today and i really find this site very informative and helpful. My PD is May 2005; Visa category: EB3 ROW/Philippines; Status: Case just labeled as "documentarily quialified"; Interview Date: No interview yet. If I'm not mistaken my priority date had been current for two months now. Is there a possibility that I may get an appointment schedule for interview this month of December? Thanks and more power.

Hi and welcome to our family.  Smile

What specific day is your PD in May 2005?  When exactly were you labeled 'documentariliy qualified' ? Just recently?

Have you checked directly with the National Visa Center on your exact status and what has your agency told you recently? They should be on top of things as well.

Hi. If your PD is after May 1, 2005 then you are not yet current since the cut-off is May 1, 2005.

That was a quick reply. Tnx anyway. My PD is May 1, 2005. My case was labeled documentarily qualified last September 24, 2008 per reply by the NVC when I made my inquiry last June 11, 2008. What do you think are the odds that I may still get an appointment schedule this December? Tnx again!

Hi! This topic concerns about my friend. His PD was sometime in 2004 and he was interviewed at the US Embassy last October 8, 2008. After the interview he was ask to pay the Delbros for the courier fee. It's been more than two months now and until now he has not receive his passport with the visa. Just want to ask opinion what could be the reason behind the long delay. Tnx.

In my opinion. If you still have not received your appointment letter, then the odds for getting a December interview is very slim. They usually send out packet 4 1 month before the scheduled interview. Try checking the Embassy website in Manila if your case has a schedule already and also contact your employer/lawyer if they have received your packet 4. Your so lucky your PD is May 1, 2005. If you're not included in the December interview, then maybe you'll be scheduled in January. Good luck. Let us know if you receive your schedule.

Your friend should be contacting the embassy directly to ask that.  Has she or he tried doing that?  Whatever the reason i s, it shoudn't be because of unavailability of visas as your friend's case has a 2004 PD and the cut-off date for PH and ROW has been May 1, 2005 for the last 2 months now.

Keep us updated here of your friend's case, ok?  Better yet, pls. invite him or her here. Smile

As for your case...  I'm pretty sure you'll eventually get your packet 4 sooner or later.  Your PD is right on the thick of things. Maybe they want you to spend Christmas here in the Philippines.  Your last Christmas celebration in the Philippines.  Innocent  Many Filipinos are missing how Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines.  Make the most of it. Wink

Happy holidays. Smile

Hello Kingminator.

Best of Luck to you. I am quite sure that you will have your packet four sooner than later. A PD of may 1, 2005 is very much promising. Try checking the Manila Embassy website once in awhile for possible appointment schedule already, nothing to lose doing that.

I am just puzzled with your post sir. You have said that your case is declared as documentarily qualified last SEPTEMBER 4, 2008. This is the reply you've got from NVC when made an inquiry last JUNE 11, 2008.

You have made the inquiry roughly three (3) months BEFORE NVC declared your case as documentarily qualified. How could this be? I guess it is not possible to get info beforehand regarding getting doc qualified way before a case is declared so.

On the other part of the story, Your friend must call up the Embassy and ask what happened, and why there's such a delay. It's quite unusual that until now he/she havent got her visa yet. Usually after the consular interview, and if everything went fine, visa can be expected to be right at you doorstep 3 days to one week from the interview date. I guess there are some unresolved issues that you may not know regarding your friend's case. But as what T-cell had said, unavailability of visa wouldn't be an idea to consider since your friend's PD is current for months now.

Try contacting DELBROS as well. Reasons for Delays in delivering of visas can sometimes be from their part too. But I doubt.

Happy Holidays. Godbless us more in the coming new Year.

You can call NVC automated response at 011-603-334-0700 to know the date of your case completion. They do not give the date in their email but the automated response will give you the date. You just need your nvc case number. I'm sure your case was completed end of June or first week of July.

hi to everyone,
with the current financial situation now of us of a, i guess it is not the question now if your pd is current but rather if you still have an updated job order. better ask your employers if you have an access to them
