Let us all PRAY for a great news for JAN VB. Dec 8 is Mama Mary's birthday. Let's seek her divine mercy and intervention. Let us all offer this wish to our Divine Providence to have a big leap on EB3 this coming VB. Nothing is impossible to those who have faith in the power of PRAYER!

To Dormana:

Thank you very much for showing your support to all of us who are still in the process of going there. It's people like you who makes us feel fine despite of the negative comments we constantly hear from various anti-immigration sites. All the best and may Godb Bless you more.

To APC:

Hello there. Yes two more weeks or even less, and we are up to for the next thrill...the coming out of January2009 VB. I'm quite confident that there will be some forward movement with the start of the second quarter of the fiscal year. But again to what extend, still remains to be unfold. Hoping for us to be current this time though.

To Tabaching DJ:

Have you ever asked travelling agents there how much you got to spend for a flight bound to Nevada,USA? hehehe do the canvass now, I'm quite at ease that this time, you are IN bro!!! hehehe

To T-cell:

Much appreciated for having this site where we could call our HOME. Thanks too for the never ending guidance and advises that you are giving to our family members here. It's your voice that all of us are eager to hear all the time. More power to this site!!!

To all the other members of the family:

Keep on believing and never think that dreaming is next to impossible as what members on the other site are saying. We must be strong. It takes strong-determined individuals to conquer the world.

Too soon, everything will be beautiful.....

Long Live FOREIGN TRAINED NURSES!!!

hi freinds i am from india PD july 2007

Hi Aben. I am surprised that you are now a member of this forum . Thanks much for registering. And welcome to the family.

I am saddened with the latest terror attack in your place,MUMBAI in particular. I condole each and every victim of the said tragedy. Praying that everything will be fine very soon.

Moving on, I guess you are very much aware of the retrogression that we are facing at the moment, and in India, the cut-off date as revealed in the December VB is October 01, 2001. Having said so, a PD of JULY 2007 is still way too far from being current unless immigration friendly legislation lifting retro will be made available soon.

I suggest you to try looking for opporunities other than US for the time being like what your friend and my NCLEX mentor VINOD did. I beleive it's a nice and wise move other than staying in your country waiting for your PD to be current.

Godbless you and extra care always!!!

Hi, lem04. Welcome to the forum. : ) As far as e-mailing them, they usually respond within 5-10 working days. However, if e-mailing them they want that the e-mail contain a certain format or they won't reply back with an answer. When you e-mail them, you will get an auto-reply from them right away to acknowledge that they received your e-mail so that you don't have to keep sending and therefore spamming them w/c may cause delay to other people e-mailing them as well. That auto-reply e-mail also contains the proper format you should follow. Thanks for reminding me of this. I'll be updating the thread in our General Foreign Nurses Discussion regarding how to contact the NVC. I'll leave it to the other members regarding on how to properly contact them through phone.

Hello Lem04. Congratulations on having a PD of December 2006. When did your lawyer paid the visa fee bill? When was the last time you forwarded your DS-230 to your lawyer?

though it may cost you a little, the fastest and quickest way for you to contact NVC is by calling them through phone. An automated recorded message system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Contact Number: 0-01-603-334-0700. It is imperative that you use a touch-tone telephone since you have to press numbers to link you with proper instructions.

Live operator assistance are only available from 7:30am to 12:30 am (EST).

Before calling the NVC, you have to ready your CIS receipt number. And if you wish to talk to an agent, be prepare for the ff details:

1.) Name and date of birth of Beneficiary and;
2.) Name of petitioning company.

All the best.

My VF bill together with my husband's were paid last april 2008, my son's fee bill was paid a little bit later. I mailed another ds-230 i think aprill 2008 also, what I remember was that was the time when the pd went up to march 2006.

Since the visa fee bill has already been settled and that you've sent another updated DS-230 last April 2008, then I assume that everything is fine by now. But just to make sure, try to call the NVC and inquire the status of your case. Other than your Lawyer, the NVC is the best body to answer your queries.

We already provided you with details on how to contact the NVC for that matter. Goodluck and keep us posted with the latest developments of your case.

Godbless you and your family.

Hi lem04, I was just wondering what date you paid your son's fee bill? because if you listed him as "accompanying you to the US" in your DS230, NVC will not process your case to completion until your son's fee bill and documents are received by NVC. But if you listed him as "following to join", then NVC will process your case even if they have not received his documents yet and his fee bill can be paid at the US embassy in Manila. But I am assuming you listed him as "accompanying you" since you paid his fee bill already. So the question is when did your lawyer submit your son's documents to NVC. This will have an effect on when you will be declared documentarily qualified.

Try contacting NVC as soon as possible so you'll know if you are already documetarily qualified or not.

hi apc,
I mailed my payment to my agency 2 wks after they sent me the VF bill receipt(I guess thats the form with the barcode and NVC case number indicated). I listed him as following to join because my agency told me that my family will join me after I arrived at the US.
