Im very glad 'bout Cutienurse's Visa's update... Hoping it will be contiguous or infectious to all members here with PDs 2005 because even one of my friend here in New Zealand with PD Nov 2005 will be going home soon to Phils because she was informed by her agency about her Packet 4... Im very happy for her too...
Same with the majority here, I'll be patiently waiting for my PD Aug 2006's turn while gaining clinical nursing experience here in NZ... Lets continue praying each other... God bless our American Dream!!! wink

Hi jozhrn,

Is your friend's packet 4 already received by her/his agency?  when's her/his interview schedule?  I also have a PD of Nov 2005.  I hope to hear some good news from my lawyer.  Did your friend try to check the appointment schedule in the US embassy Manila website if it is already posted there?  please try to ask your friend when her/his interview is scheduled and share it with us here.

Wow, a Nov. 2005 PD with packet 4 already.

By the way things are going, I will not be surprised at all if it goes at least up to Dec., 2005 and who knows even reach the 1st qtr. of 2006.  Hopefully, it goes all the way through the whole 2006 eventually as well in the coming months.

Good luck to everyone.  angel

I dont know really the truth now coz if you will try to read the latest post today at www.shusterman.com about April 2009 Expected Visa Bulletin for EB3... that we will be expecting to have another 1 year retrogression from our May 2005 PD, that means it will move backward to 2004... As the poet once said that 'APRIL IS THE CRUELEST MONTH" & as confirmed from Hillary in State Deapartment. Anything happens every ticks of the clock, as we are watching the US Market meltdown nowadays... The unemployment rate in US in Feb 2009 reaches more than 8%, making it the highest so far for the past 25 years... They are optimizing every measures to keep the jobs be served to their citizens...
Its very depressing news but we can't do about it coz its reality... We will not focus our mind solely to our American Dream instead grab every opportunities that come along the way... Keep up with our faith that in God's perfect time, we will be there...crying

I would suggest that everyone to keep calm and just wait for the official VB to actually be published.

It doesn't seem to make sense with the recent reports of packet 4s being given to some with those w/ 2005 PDs.

We just have to wait for the official VB and keep calm and not over-react.

Calling everyone to remain calm till the April 2009 VB is out.

It does not seem nice to over-react at this point but a startled response to this breaking news is none but normal as the rumor is now escalating.

We need a solicited prayers from everyone. Pray harder people please.

Stay tuned.

Please do not make unnecessary reaction ... doing so will never help nor change what is destined to happen... good or bad... just keep calm and always remember that God is so good.... and everything happens for a reason.... we may not know  in a heartbeat "why" but the answer will just come out at the right time... for now...let us all join our hearts to  pray  hard and be heard by our Almighty Creator.... God bless us all my fellow nurses....

Dear Fellow Applicants,

The main reason for this blog is to inform with care not to mislead others.

Talking and writing to others with out care cause so much pain and rummors with out a legal valid

basis , so pls be carefull about anything .

This is not about essay writing contest or a true confession to a priest,

pls we are professionals not just a nurse full of hummors , We must act as a professional and wise

people.

try to ask your lawyers about ,  " adding insult to injury " , people waited so much now so many

writers tell their stories without thinking others feeling .

Good luck to others i hope you can sleep well while others in deep pain.

Not that I am defending anyone here but there is actually a basis for it and the source was posted.

Try going to www.shusterman.com and it is there.  It is on that website's News ticker.  Whether everyone should  just believe it at face value is up to the individual.  I think it is but natural that people gets distressed after reading something like that on a usually credible site.  And sharing the info. to others for comments, further discussions and constructive critique are one of the purposes of an internet forum.

with all the rumors spreading i can't help but feel down today. to think my i-140 petition had just been approved. but with the way things are turning out lately (obama giving his opinion about getting foreign nurses abroad, and now this retrogression thing again), we might as well be prepared for the worstcrying

Hi,

Guess Cutienurse is still waiting for the April VB also.  All hopes from just last week was sooo high that the April VB will be our salvation...I really do not know why they are doing this to us.  Are we just toys to them!  One statement contradicts with the other one.

Well, all we have to do now is really keep our cool... stay focus and try to see the positive side of what is happening.  There's always a purpose for everything. wink
God is always good...

This sucks big time. But then again, let's just wait for the official April VB, which should be out soon. Things can still change from now till then. Let's continue to hope for the best and pray.

Thanks t-cell...

I'm  just sharing a piece of reliable information from an undeniably well-known immigration law firm in the US... So far, www.shusterman.com is feeding recent & true situation about US immigration almost everyday... Its located in the middle box under the named NEWS TICKER (must have your JAVA loaded) of their website.
Likewise, our website is basically to inform every members/readers regarding updates of US Immigration so just like any other members who are eagerly waiting & very keen to hear latest news which bear nothing but only the TRUTH...
Its not  the time to impress anybody here but take this as an avenue to encourage all of us to join in UNITED PRAYER that God will give us the BEST future either if its USA or otherwise...heart

About the Obama issue, I think it was already properly addressed by Greg Siskind and HLG's blog (and passed along in our forum) to be over-blowned and mis-interpreted. So, as far as that issue is concerned, it's pretty much case close.

What's left now is this news about further retrogression for EB3 ROW and PH.  We'll know more in the coming days.

I agree, hope for the best but prepare for the worst. angel

Until no official statement has been declared for the April visa bulletin, we still have time to pray for the best and wish that this rumor will soon die on its natural death.

No matter how reliable the source of this rumor…it will stay to be just rumor until final confirmation has already been made public. Let’s continue to pray as hard as we could that PD’s will not retrogress from the March VB and that slight movement will be greatly appreciated as the months unfold.

It pays to be optimistic despite how serious the threats are in any given circumstances. But as t-cell said “prepare for the worst” is a must thought plan on what shall be done. We must be ready for anything without losing our FAITH and ambitions. Good luck to us all.

although we're way down the line with regards to priority date... i really hope that visas would move forward 'til our time comes.but to be honest about it, i am hoping with my eyes wide open on the realities on what is happening in the real world right now. harsh as they may sound, those old nurses from the other forum have a point when they say that job vacancies should go to their citizens first.and i know this opinion is shared by almost all americans. the way i look at it, it wouldn't look good if they would be giving out a large number of employment based visas right now.but hopefully, it won't at least retrogress further.

OT:  t-cell: sorry, mate. i can't retrieve my password for my original account so i had to re-register under this new account. hope thats OK  with you. cheers

Hi t-cell,

I agree with mauiboy but what about us who are all done with the approvals and processing of our Immigrant Visa and is just waiting now for our Packet 4.  We are all case complete as per NVC, i think that NVC and DOS is mandated to process our papers cause legally we have gone through their immigration requirements.  The worst thing that can happen is that our petitioners widraws.. God forbid... hope not.

Your thoughts...

Thanks,
